Ashburn Location Manager & Nutritionist
LOCATIONS
AshburnMy name is Eloisa and I am a nutritionist and co-manager of Cōpare Ashburn. I was born in Brazil but have been in the USA for the past 16 years. I hold a B.S in Dietetics from James Madison University. I have been with the company since 2018 and enjoy helping our clients live a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
Growing up in Brazil (minutes from the beach), having a Brazilian military parent, playing sports, and having a farm to table lifestyle, the importance of nutrition and fitness was instilled in me. My passion for nutrition and fitness became apparent when I was about 6-7 years old; I saw a news segment on tv regarding the increasing obesity rate in Brazilian kids. Once the segment was over, I turned to my mom and said, “that will never be me” and from that day on, I learned to view foods and physical activity as a way of longevity. Fast forward to my teens, I found myself helping friends and family get healthier. As I headed off to college, I knew exactly what I wanted to do.
I have a holistic coaching approach towards health and wellness. This world has a lot of great things to offer us, which is why I always encourage my clients to find balance in all aspects of their life, not just in fitness and nutrition. Being from a military family and being a US immigrant, some of my life mottos are:
1. You must work harder for anything you want in life and that nothing comes easy.
2. Consistency creates opportunities.
3. Stop comparing yourself to others because they are not you and you are not them.
This mindset is also something that translates into my coaching style.
In my free time, you will find me running outside with my dog, at the gym, spending time with my family, or traveling with my husband.
