INGREDIENTS:
- 3 lbs cubed pork shoulder
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 2 tbsp smoked paprika
- 2 tbsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp ground cumin
- 1 tbsp sea salt
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup Walden Farms pancake syrup
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees fahrenheit
- Cut pork shoulder into cubes and put into a large mixing bowl
- Mix all spices and pancake syrup in a separate bowl, pour over pork
- If desired, marinate 2 – 4 hours
- Remove from oven, pork should be fork tender and easy to shred. Enjoy!
* Alternatively, you may combine all ingredients and cook in a slow cooker on the high setting for 4 hours, or low setting for 8 hours
