Body Composition Analysis
Understanding your body composition is critical to assessing and monitoring your health. It also provides you tangible feedback necessary to keep you motivated and focused on your goals.
At Cōpare, we believe in feedback — not failure. The Body Composition Analysis provides us with the numbers we need to personalize your program, and empowers you with data that holds you accountable and motivated to achieve lasting results.
The number on the scale doesn’t tell the full story– very few of our clients understand how excess weight and risk factors show up in other ways. For example: in men under 60, a percentage of body fat that exceeds 20% has been known to contribute to a higher risk of cardiovascular disease.
Our innovative technologies allow us to go well beyond the number on the scale. We want to understand not only how much body fat you have, but also where it is located. We look at your muscle mass and your hydration levels too. All of these readings provide us with the necessary data to more accurately assess your health.
Once we have determined your baseline, we will monitor your progress by doing the Body Composition Analysis during weekly sessions. Every week, you and your coach will discuss your results in detail and make changes to your program based on the readings we see. Our clients love this part of our program because they can compare their numbers and feel validated when their body composition changes from week to week. As they start to feel better inside and out, they can also feel confident that they’re mitigating health risks and extending their lives.
The Body Composition Analysis uses the InBody Technology, which is known for its precision, accuracy and expediency. The test itself is easy and pain free; we simply ask that you remove your socks as the machine works via electrical impedence and requires skin contact.
