Eric
Co-Founder
Eric has a life-long relationship with health and fitness, originating from his time in the U.S. Marine Corps. While on active duty, he competed in several fitness events, as well as amateur body building contests in southern California – reaching the podium several times. Eric knows that health and wellness are the result of a daily commitment to nutrition.
Seeking new challenges, Eric began triathlon training and has completed 43 Sprint, Olympic, and Ironman distance races to date. Most recently Eric completed Escape from Alcatraz.
When Eric isn’t training or competing in triathlons, he is a financial advisor in the Washington, DC area (since 1987) and is Vice Chairman for both the Marine Corps Scholarship Fund and Navy Mutual Aid Association.
Cōpare is the culmination of Eric’s passion for health and fitness combined with his 30+ years as a professional personal financial advisor and humanitarian advocate. With Cōpare, Eric is committed to changing weight loss to be more personally empowering with real life personal advocacy and coaching, while keeping to the science of nutrition.
Eric is often at the six Cōpare locations as he calls them his “happy places”. He enjoys interacting with the clients and staff, always making time for a quick word. When Eric isn’t working or competing, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 adult children.
